When riding your Island Bike, you will never worry that the battery will lose its capacity quickly, the engine underperforming. It wasn’t easy, but we have been dedicated to testing an inexhaustible number of suppliers which allowed us to deliver the best performance of our bikes. We only use the best possible components before we release our bikes into the world!

ISLAND BIKE
BASIC INSTALLATION OF A GENTLEMAN WHEEL
Since we create ‘custom’ bikes, we have several options for frames, engines, batteries, mounts, grips, tires, saddles etc. You have the ability to pick from the highest quality components to create your dream bike. Also, we make and color almost all leather products by hand in our workshop!
Frame / Wheels
- We use a 26 “and 28” steel frame, which is in the style of old Laurin & Klement and Harley Davidson motorcycles from the 20th century. You can choose the color according to the RAL swatch and a quality powder paint is always used.
- Motorcycle Style handlebars
- Stem ZOOM 50 mm
Double Down front fork 600 mm - The wheels are 26 “/ 65 mm aluminum with Cruzo 26” / 3 “tires.
- Shimano front hub with 6V 30W dynamo.
- Rear hub Shimano S6-S7001 Alfine with 8 speeds.
Motor / Battery / Electronics
This is probably the most interesting part on which the whole e-bike actually stands.

- Chain tension 1500 kg
- Retro Steel-Rubber Pedals
- Li Ion 13Ah 48 V battery which ensures a range of up to 70 km. Of course, it depends on the weight, the terrain and the chosen degree of tread.

- Shimano front and rear discs 180 mm
- Brakes set Shimano Deore BR M6-100
- Front and rear lights – retro design in chrome-plated steel powered by batteries.
